Unless explicitly stated on the documentation for a method, the accepted Web API call content types are:

Calls using any other content type (ex: text/plain) are not supported.

TeamDynamix.Api.WorkflowEngine.WorkflowAdvancement.Approve

Indicates that the workflow is moving forward as the result of an approval or other affirmative action.

This is a member of the TeamDynamix.Api.WorkflowEngine.WorkflowAdvancement enumeration with a value of 1.
